This blonde Charmin Chatty doll was made by Mattel in 1961. She has blue eyes and shoulder-length multi-tone / sun streaked blonde hair. She is redressed in a pretty maroon dress decorated with white lace and is wearing white stockings and bloomers.
Charmin stands approx. 24 inches tall. She is mute as usual. Her hair is pretty good, not too dry - still soft and sleek in back. It may possibly have been slightly trimmed, but I am not sure about that.
Her biggest defect is her head - she is having an Exorcist / Linda Blair kinda day! Her head is loose for some reason - I don't really know why, and turns easily when she is moved.
Overall she is still in good condition and makes a lovely display doll. |
